Music · Literature · Cultural Storytelling
Lily Kerrigan is a Mexican singer, songwriter and writer based in Puebla, Mexico. Her artistic career brings together vocal performance, original music, literary writing and an interest in history, languages and cultural traditions.
She is the vocalist and a co-writer of lyrics and musical arrangements for Kilometro1, a Mexican symphonic metal and rock band whose recordings explore historical narratives, folklore and cultural identity.
Her work with Kilometro1 includes Sobreviviente (2017), Renacer (2019), The Final Legend (2020) and Circle of Nine (2026). The band's international performance history includes the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
The album combines independent musical narratives with a final four-song cycle inspired by the Dutch folklore of the Witte Wieven:
Witte Wieven · The Circle of Nine · The Trial · The Silent Curse
Through these compositions, Lily explores how fear, prejudice and collective narratives can influence the way women are remembered and represented.
With an academic background in Language and Literature, Lily also develops independent musical and literary work. Her creative interests extend beyond performance to songwriting, narrative development and artistic collaboration.
